‘This is just too delicious!’

A filling dish full of flavour. The macaroni is mixed with a tasty garlic white sauce, broccoli and sweetcorn, topped with creamy seasoned chicken and grated cheese.

Ingredients – 400g of dried macaroni, 600ml skimmed milk, 3 heaped tbsp plain flour, 4 garlic cloves, 1 medium broccoli, 1 cup of sweetcorn, chicken seasoning, 3 chicken breasts, 125g Skyr (from Lidl, quark could also be used).

To make:

Blend the skimmed milk, flour and garlic together and heat in a pan until the sauce thickens.

Boil the macaroni in a pan, just before the pasta is cooked through remove from and drain.

Boil broccoli and sweetcorn.

Cut 3 chicken breasts into chunks, pan fry and mix with chicken seasoning. Once cooked mix through Skyr.

Add the cooked macaroni, broccoli and sweetcorn to a large dish, pour over the garlic sauce and mix through. Add the creamy chicken evenly over the top, and top the dish with grated cheese (as much as you like).

Cook in the oven for 30 minutes. Check after 20 minutes and cover with foil if necessary. Serve when piping hot.
